Squash Today!
Looking forward to it! Been quite some time since I last did it so will be a lot of hard work I’d imagine.  Tennis yesterday was also good and followed up by ice cream as the weather was such.

100 Push-Up Challenge
I’ve started the 100 Push-Up Challenge and will use this post to keep track of it! Remember folks, the 100 Push-Up Challenge is an app you can get for your smartphone. I’ve heard it can cost money (under one pound/dollar) however my version is actually free and seems to be the actual thing. I’m on blackberry if you’re wondering so if you are too you can get it for free! It...

Promotion - Jupiter and Back
I’ve decided to start a thing where I promote a different person each week. These people will have blogs that are fun and informative to read, who perhaps don’t have a large following and/or are newish to the tumblr world. Everyone should check out their blog and decide if they want to follow them, which, of course, they should! The first lucky person is Jupiter and Back who has had...

Change of Plans
Today’s core workout went well. Possibly could have done more but time was against me and I was going out for lunch. After the second day of the GamingTrend challenge, I’m placed 19th with only the points from today’s exercise added. It might be harder to get into the top 10 then I thought, as it seems there is tough competition! The change of plans is simple enough: tomorrow...

Challengers Abound
So we now move into the final ten hours of the tumblr challenge. A lot can happen in ten hours, but as it’s 9pm where I am and the challenge finishes at 7am I do not think I will be adding any more points to my table. This means I get placed 70th. Whilst probably the most points I have gotten in a week since I started logging with Fitocracy, this still places me in the bottom half of the...

A breakdown of what's happening in North Africa... →
This provides a useful breakdown of the events in the Middle East and in North Africa. Also makes interesting use of Google Maps. Did not know you could do things like this! Follow my politics blog for more useful information on all things politics and my own journey in politics!

Let’s see how many points I can get! Doubt it will touch on what some others will get but never mind. Let’s aim for mid-table! I’ll keep you updated! Michael~

Now following some Parkour blogs
Not that I can do any of it. It’s just cool to watch! The level of fitness some of the people that do it must have is insane. Probably one of the best ways to workout and have fun!

all for parkour: Parkour - Learn the Basics →
all4parkour: Since there are more and more newcomers to the discipline of Parkour, I figured I would post a bit about learning the basics Learning Parkour is definitely easier to do when you are with people who are more experienced—but a lot of traceurs/traceuses are self taught (myself included.) We all… For anyone interested, this is certainly worth a read.

Fitness and Nutrition: Training frequency →
davidlamb: How often to train is one of the biggest concerns for individuals new to the fitness scene. Some experts believe training with less frequency is the way to go; provided one is training with plenty of intensity then more time away from the gym is more time to recover which equals more time to grow…. Personally, I lift three times a week and do cardio twice a week. I’m...

Off to France
As one does with ones weekends. Just the weekend so will be back Sunday afternoon. Sitting on the Normandy Express at the moment waiting to leave. A small boat, compared to the Ventura at least, but fast. Just over 2 hours to the continent I believe. Anyway, should be a top weekend! See you on the other side! Michael~

m1lr replied to your post: Thinking about buying a barbell. Id suggest doing slower reps of the same weight focusing on perfect PERFECT PERFECT form, itll be more challenging when you do them exaggerated slow. Ok good plan. Thanks for the advice =)

Thinking about buying a barbell.
But I guess I really don’t have the space for it! Well, I guess it is just a stick so I probably do but… hmmm… I used the max weight on my dumbbells today for the leg exercises. They go up to 10kg a piece, or 22lbs. I’ve never used such a large weight before but it was not that hard. Until I find a solution I’ll just have to do more reps or do faster reps. Holiday...
